2011 Scholarship Luncheon

At our December 28th lunch meeting, we honored our 2011 scholarship winners and their families.   Because of greater support from the Asbury Park community, we were able to award seven $1,000 scholarships this year.  For the past 25 years the club has given over 90+ scholarships to deserving local students.  From the left are Frank Rodriguez of Neptune High School who is attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona; Matthew Porter, also from Neptune High, attends Green Mountain University in Vermont; Charlotte Lee from the Academy of Health and Science is attending Duke University; Jessie Joseph Lauria of Ocean Township High School attends Monmouth University; and Jordyn Tumas, also from Ocean, attends the University of Pennsylvania.  Missing are Christopher Shields of Asbury Park High School who attends The College of New Jersey and Duchana Gille of Academy Charter High School.
