 Rotary Sends Assistance to Newtown, CT

Rotary is described as a global network of business, professional and community leaders who serve locally and around the world.   This became cleary evident as the Newtown Rotary Club has witnessed tremendous charitable support from across the nation and around the world in their efforts to assist victums of the Sandy Hook School tragedy. With our $500 donation, Asbury Park Rotary is one of over 261 Rotary clubs  that have contributed over $100,000 to the newly formed "Newtown Rotary Foundation Sandy Hook School Fund."  This support will go to assist individuals and groups directly involved in the tragedy.
