Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army

It's surprising how enjoyable bell ring for money in front of the Neptune Walmart can be. Of course, when it's the holiday season, and we're with our Rotary friends and the shoppers are so generous and friendly and we're working for a great organization like the Salvation Army, we knew we put in a worthwhile two hours of service to the community.  It didn't hurt that the temperature was unusually warm on December 21 and 22, 2013. Major Kevin Stoops, SA director and Rotarian, reports $1350 was raised from our efforts.  Roger Stein, chairman of the Asbury Park SA advisory board and Rotarian, thanks our club for the much needed support.
