Melissa Leardi, Breaking the Chain through Education
Melissa (left) has been working with Breaking the Chain through Education since its inception. Her high school social studies teacher shared the reality of young children enslaved in Ghana and forced to work on fishing boats. Through his efforts, Evan Robins has not only been able to secure the freedom for children, but has established a rehabilitation school that assists with their transition back into society and then finding suitable places for them to live.
