The Rotary Foundation transforms our gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, it taps into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into priorities such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.

This Rotary year marks the 100th anniversary of our Foundation’s beginning.  Arch Klumph’s idea for an endowment fund dedicated to “doing good in the world” planted the seed for The Rotary Foundation in 1917. That one idea and an initial contribution of $26.50 set in motion a powerful force for good that has transformed millions of lives around the globe.

Strong financial oversight, a stellar charity rating and a unique funding model mean that it makes the very most of our contribution. District Governor David requests each Rotarian donate only $26.50 to TRF in memory of the very first bequest.  Become a part of Rotary’s life-changing work!
