Rise Against Hunger

 
 Our club will be participating in Rise Against Hunger on October 28th.  See the flyer for details.  We participated last year and those who attended said it was a wonderful event.  Remember that you will need to sign up using the link provided.  Slots are expected to fill up quickly.  Also if you cannot attend we encourage you to donate to help defray the cost of the meals.  
 
Members of Rotary clubs from Ocean, Monmouth, and Burlington Counties plus other volunteers will work to bring an end to hunger on Saturday, October 28th, 2017. Working with Rise Against Hunger, volunteers will pack meals in an assembly line formation within specialized crates to be shipped nationally and internationally to areas around the world with a shortage of food. Funds will be raised for the event from contributions from Rotary clubs, businesses, and individuals to fund the costs of the meals to help end hunger.  You do not have to be a Rotarian to volunteer, all are welcome to participate
 
There will be three separate locations to pack meals, one in each of the participating counties. Volunteer shifts including setup and cleanup will run from 7AM-11AM or 11AM-3PM
