Though Jeff is now retired from the pharmaceutical industry, he shared with us his journey through sales and marketing before transitioning into advocacy and government affairs. Enlightening our club with facts that show how innovation, grounded in research, is enhancing our longevity (how’s that IRA?) and our well-being as we live longer. Pointing out that research is failure-based, and the length of time it takes from conception to trail to the market place, helped to educate us in the true value of a life-saving drug.
