Asbury Park Rotarians have shown to have many skills and abilities. This Rotarian was an engineer and helped design the bomb rack in the B17 Flying fortress bomber.

After leaving the service, he went to work for Johnson & Johnson. One hot sunny day, he accidentally cut himself and was annoyed that the band-aid would not stick to his sweaty hands. Using his engineering background, he came up with the idea to perforate the sticky band-aid surface so the sweat would dissipate. Thus the band-aid could and would stick. He patented his idea of a perforated band-aid.

Imagine that: An Asbury Park Rotarian Patented the perforated band-aid!  Want to know the name of this impressive Rotarian?
