On a beautiful May morning, volunteers from the Asbury Park Environmental and Shade Tree Commission and the Rotary Club of Asbury Park created a Centennial Garden on 5th Avenue and Sunset Lake next to Veterans Park in Asbury Park. This circular garden celebrates the Rotary Club's 100 years of service to the community of Asbury Park and surrounding areas. The garden highlights the colors of Rotary with the letter “R” in yellow roses, surrounded by Nikko Blue Hydrangeas. All supplies were provided by the Environmental and Shade Tree Commission and the plants were provided by the Rotary Club.
