Ashley Clayton, 21 from Ocean Township, is a student at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. She is a member of an organization called A Moment of Magic, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in which college students volunteer at children’s hospital and other places and events dressed as princesses, superheroes, etc. The organization visits children in need free of charge. They provide services such as individual visits, bedside visits, group visits, story readings, and special events- just to name a few. They have 12 chapters all over the United States and 500+ volunteers who have visited over 20,000 children. The organization relies on donations to continue to providing services. They have been featured on ABC News, USA Today, CNN, Elite Daily, NBC News, and MANY more. They always need help since they pay for their own visits, commutes, costumes, etc. They hold events like galas and fashion shows in order to raise money further than just online donations and sponsors.
