At the May 20 Zoom meeting Jackie Borsuch said the Peace Garden at Allaire Community has been finished and is in need of weekly watering volunteers.

President Brian Mullins said he would be able to hook up a couple of hoses to make the watering easier.

The General Store at the farm is open and selling eggs and milk.

Roy Helfrich said they have received scholarship applications for about 20 high school seniors.

After much discussion about the changing landscape for seniors this year, it was agreed that more flexibility would be needed this year.

One senior is planning to go into the military before going to school and another is going to Lincoln Technical School.

Roy and Tama said the scholarship committee will discuss how to proceed at their meeting.

In lieu of the annual Wine Tasting Dinner a virtual wine and beer event is being discussed with beer, wine and spirits purveyors joining us online to discuss their offerings.
