Scholarship Chair Roy Helfrick said the scholarship committee narrowed down the award winners and asked the group if it was okay to proceed choosing the winners without holding a meeting.
He said there are clear winners and it has been difficult for the committee to convene at this time.
All agreed that a meeting was not necessary.
Kip Daly, who ran the meeting also announced that the barbecue is set for July 25 at the home of Jennifer and Louis Martini.
