It is always good to be informed of organizations and individuals who are focused on lending a helping hand to our troops in active duty and this is just what Toni Seinfeld does. As one of many volunteers with Eagles UP! She coordinates the boxing and shipping of supplies that men and women overseas need (or simply enjoy) during their deployment. She shared that 2% of the American population is in or affected by our military and many of those have had as many as five tours of duty. Imagine opening a box and finding your favorite snack or warm socks or a supply of deodorant. However, the organization needs not only items, but also cash. With the rising cost of postage it gets harder and harder to ship on a more frequent basis.
