A life-long resident of Monmouth County, Bob Henschel shared with us his passion for nature, particularly the bird population of Monmouth County.  An active member of the Monmouth County Audubon Society, Bob has much experience about which birds are best seen and where you will find them.  The Monmouth County (NJ) Audubon Society, a chapter of the National Audubon Society, is dedicated to the enjoyment and study of nature, wildlife conservation, habitat protection and education.  Through the Society, field trips, evening trips and programs are scheduled throughout the year.  Bob’s presentation was a wonderful reminder that while we live in the shadow of a major city, Monmouth County has many opportunities to explore and enjoy nature.  For additional information visit http://www.monmouthaudubon.org
