I came to the Rotary Club of Asbury Park to give a presentation about Operation Eye Rescue and the Rotary spirit touched me immediately. Our weekly Rotary meeting is a time for me to enjoy my Rotary friends’ company, have great conversations, lots of fun and accomplish many projects that support people in need in the community and around the world! I had the privilege of being a Rotarian in 4 clubs over the years. Without question, The Rotary Club of Asbury Park was the most memorable, having served as president for 17 months because of the death of the president in the late 80’s. As president I suggested to our board that we follow RI’s lead and actively recruit lady members. You can vividly see today that was the right decision.
