Rotarians Attend Foundation Dinner

Led by President Penny, Asbury Park Rotarians attended the District 7500 "Thanks for Giving" Dinner on Jan. 25, 2013 to recognize clubs and individuals for their support of The Rotary Foundation in 2011-12.  Our club was sited for reaching our Foundation giving goal for last year which helped District 7500 achieve the honor of being number one in Zone 32 in per capita giving to the Annual Programs Fund.  Seven of our members were recognized for becoming Paul Harris Fellows.  Michael K. McGovern, a trustee of The Rotary Foundation and past RI Vice President, was the keynote speaker.  The event was held at the Clarion Hotel in Toms River.
