Penny Geis, RNC-NIC is a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.  Penny has worked in the NICU  for over 20 years. Prior to working in the NICU, Penny worked in the Emergency Room at Kimball Medical Center.

Penny was introduced to Michaels Feat while caring for seriously ill newborns and now serves as a liaison between families at Jersey Shore and Michael’s Feat. Penny has dedicated her career to caring for these seriously fragile babies and assisting their families during this time.   So, being a part of Michael’s Feat seemed like a perfect fit for Penny.  Penny assists Michael’s Feat with fundraising events, distributing special holiday surprises for the babies in the NICU including pictures with Santa, handmade ornaments made out of the infant’s hand and footprints, gift cards, books for the babies, Mother’s Day flowers for all the mother’s of babies in the NICU, and handing out meals from Eat Clean Bro, so families are able to have a nice meal while they visit with their baby (these meals are provided by Michael’s Feat) and so much more.

Penny has been married to her husband, Dan for 37 years. They have two daughters, Danielle and Kylie, and three grandchildren, Madison, Michael, and Charlotte.

In her free time Penny loves playing with her grandchildren, traveling to new places, being with friends, cooking and going to the beach.
