Jeff Williams will be talking to us about Surf Rider Foundation.
Jeff Williams has spent more than 30 years at the confluence of national security, business and political activity. His experience includes almost 25 years engaged in tactical operational programs advancing national policy goals through intelligence, national security, and international relations programs. Jeff provides active support for commercial, military and diplomatic activities with a special focus on Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Using his network of U.S. embassy and host country officials, Jeff brings positive financial results to the companies he works for and enhances the quality of life of the people in the countries he is involved with. He specializes in maritime logistics and delivers equipment, fuel and humanitarian support for the US Department of Defense wherever it is needed, including in contested and austere locations.
He grew up in Loch Arbour where he spends almost half his time – he has a life-long connection to the Jersey Shore where he was an ocean lifeguard for 14 summers, continues to surf our waters year round, and transferred his love for the Jersey Shore into environmental advocacy where he is the policy and legislative director for the national Surfrider Foundation and is on the executive committee of the Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, one of the most successful and largest chapters in Surfrider’s national program.
